We worked this puzzle of cherry blossoms around a temple in Japan in the early spring of 2022, at the same time when the trees in our own town are blooming. I ordered this puzzle because I am a fan of the springtime blossoms in my own area (see gallery).

This puzzle was harder to assemble than I thought it would be. Much of the puzzle is covered with foliage and reflections of foliage, which is like camouflage netting! But the foliage and reflection sections were EASY compared with the big section of bright blue across the top.

The expanse of blue took a long time to assemble. The pieces fit together on the loose side, and it was possible to fit pieces together that looked convincing but were incorrect. We had to carefully step through the blue area to avoid mistakes.

The puzzle cut is a grid of four-sided pieces. The lack of variety in the pieces made it possible to connect things together wrong. I’m not complaining, just describing the challenge of solving this puzzle.

In all we liked spending time on this puzzle and rising to the challenge.

This puzzle was made by Re-marks in the USA. This is the first of a few puzzles that I ordered from Re-marks as part of exploring their brand. I was surprised that the puzzle cut on this one was grid-like, because the Re-marks puzzle that we did before this had a fun puzzle cut. So far, I am pleased with the Re-marks puzzles we have worked.
